5th-8th GRADE ATHLETICS

Rising 5th Grade Students:  In late June, after the current school year closes out, your rising MS child's information will be added to the AR portal.  Please monitor The Weekly email for seasonal articles related to MS sports. 

Students who are new to Prairie:  After the Admissions office receives and processes each new student enrollment contract, a unique Student ID number is assigned. If an athletic season registration deadline is approaching and you have not received your child's Student ID, please contact the Athletic Office or the respective MS or US Offices to obtain the number.

Returning athletes:  Annual registration is required for both new & returning athletes. 

Please be prepared to enter or update the following information: 

  • Parent/Guardian contact information
  • Emergency contact information
  • TPS student email address (please do not enter a parent or personal email address)
  • Student cell phone number (if your child does not have a cell phone, leave this space blank) 
  • Medical information, including the date of your child's most recent physical exam
  • Current TPS Health Physical Form (only exams dated on or after April 1, 2021 are valid for the 2022-2023 school year).  NOTE:  US Students also require a WIAA Medical Eligibility form)

NOTE: Contact and medical information is used solely by Athletic Department personnel and Health Office. 

To verify that your child's registration successfully transmitted, please: 

  • Return to the Home Screen of your Family Athletic Account where you will find your submission.
  • The status will be PENDING until the Athletics Office review it. 
  • Check your email for a "Clearance Pending" auto-response generated the moment you pressed submit. 

The Athletic Office reviews each registration and emails a status update to the parent(s)/guardian(s) and student.  

  • Clearance Approved: Your child is ready to start the season! 
  • Clearance Incomplete:  Your child IS NOT cleared to participate due to missing or incomplete information.  Your child will not be allowed to practice or play until clearance is approved.
